ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems has provided a tight sealed, secure and aesthetic entrance for an innovatively and architecturally designed chalet in the Italian Alps.

The alpine chalet is found at 2,200 metres above sea level, surrounded by the magnificent mountains of Dolomiti Bellunesi, just a few steps from a big ski lift servicing the area. An aesthetic and energy efficient automatic entrance was needed to allow comfortable passage for people with their hands full of ski gear as well as the flow of waiters with trays with food and drinks. Another very important factor was to secure maximum thermal separation between the outside panoramic terrace and the inside.

Highly insulated, aesthetically pleasing Besam Slim Thermo

The automatic door ASSA ABLOY SL500 SE with high insulation, U-factor glass and double glazing, fitted with tight-seal and sensors was the solution chosen to meet the requirements of the project. Thin profiles, double glazing for efficient insulation, and a tight seal kit to preserve the internal temperature from the cold outdoor climate. Safety sensors provides safe passage for waiters and visitors.

The solution from ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems provides guests and employees of the chalet with an aesthetic, energy efficient and safe automatic entrance that is well integrated with the building design.
