Enliven Housing, Thornleigh | SL500 with ADS-F / SW 200 Swing

Enliven Housing is a disability housing provider, working to maximise opportunities for their tenants to live independently and be part of their local community.

ASSA ABLOY was approached by Enliven Housing, to create automated entrances that would blend and integrate into their 9 apartments. Each apartment has a main entry door which was automated with an SW200 automatic swing operator mounted above the door opening. For three of the apartments an SL500 automatic sliding door operator with ADS-F door and sidelight panels was installed to provide automatic access to the balcony areas.

The ASSA ABLOY ADS door was chosen based on the complexibility and location of the entrances, its flexible configuration and security features. Being a custom installation, it was important the doors would fit seamlessly into the design as well being easy to use. As well as remote control access, the doors feature push button controls, and keypad security for carers.

Due to the size and weight of the 95kg double glazed doors, ASSA ABLOY was able to hoist through each of the apartment balconies, completely avoiding manual stair access.
