SW60 brings touchless accessibility to Greater Life Church in Matthews, NC
With many elderly & disabled members, as well as the concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, Greater Life Church in Charlotte NC knew they had to make a change to their entrances. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems had recently launched a product that could bring touchless accessibility paired with beautiful aesthetics, and Greater Life Church was excited to be one of the first installs.
Challenge
In a time with so many uncertainties, Greater Life Church wanted to be able to provide a safe place for their existing community and be able to safely open the door for all individuals. Their main goal was to keep employees, members and visitors from having to make multiple contact with doors, thus avoiding touchpoints that cause the spread of germs, while also allowing the elderly and disabled to freely move about their facility.
Solution
The ASSA ABLOY team worked with Greater Life Church to install multiple SW60 operators throughout the facility. The SW60 swing door operators automated their existing manual doors, which provided a quick and easy installation which required no expensive or time-consuming construction or structural updates. Along with the touchless benefits of the SW60, the upgrade was able to provide pleasing aesthetics that aligned with the sleek, modern design of the existing building. The newly installed swing door operators have given all who enter the facility the confidence and freedom to move around, while also helping to reduce the spread of germs and play a role in keeping the congregation healthy and safe.
