Test Developer - Automation

What you will do as our Test Developer – Automation
As our new Test Developer, you will play a key role in driving the technical testing agenda forward. You’ll work closely with developers and testers to develop automated tests in Python and manage robotic automation solutions using AI
- Work with various card technologies and RFID-based systems, and configure and test system installations in Visionline (Windows Server)
- Analyse and solve network communication issues (e.g. DNS, DHCP, VLAN, BLE, Zigbee, TLS certificates)
- Test REST APIs and communication protocols using tools such as Postman, Appium, and Wireshark
- Support manual testing efforts when needed, while bringing structure and direction to overall testing processes
- Collaborate with developers and testers to build sustainable test strategies, and share knowledge to help the team grow in automation and technical testing competencies.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, who enjoys diving into technical details while working collaboratively and sharing expertise with others. Ideally, you:
- Are confident in Python and test automation frameworks
- Have experience in one or more of C, C++, or C#
- Understand network communication and system integration, which is a strong plus
- Are structured, communicative, and proactive in driving change and innovation
- Thrive in a team-oriented, hands-on environment where knowledge sharing is part of the culture
