Overview
As part of these responsibilities, the person will work with the Cloud and Mobile Development Teams, Enterprise Architects, and enable best practices and cloud patterns, framework for the applications in Chennai.
Responsibilities
- For Cloud, Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on the Cloud
- Expertise in architecting cloud native applications that will scale in all 3 scale-dimensions.
- Sound knowledge of SOLID, CAP Theorem and Design patterns
- Understanding and devising solutions for meeting the security, regulations &
compliance requirements
- Selecting appropriate Cloud services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements
- Capacity planning for the services and come up with cost-control strategies
- Promoting best practices for development and deployment in a Cloud Native environment
- Expertise with noSQL, newSQL and RDBMS as an user and would have set up clusters for the same
- Provide strategy and roadmap for migrating complex, multi-tier applications on Cloud Platforms
- Responsible for devising master data strategy across the platform for Mobile, Expertise in architecting Mobile native applications
- Selecting appropriate Mobility solutions to design and deploy an App / SDK based on given requirements
- Sound knowledge of Design patterns, Mobility UX Principles
- Understanding and devising solutions for meeting the security, regulations & compliance requirements
- Adoption of good estimation Techniques for the Mobility Features and come up with Mobility strategies
- Promoting best practices for development and deployment in a Mobile environment
- Enforcing engineering and business alignment
- Overall Mobile platform governance (architectural, data governance and DevOps)
- Expertise in architecting firmware native applications
- Selecting appropriate firmware solutions to design and deploy an embedded architecture based on given requirements
- Understanding and devising solutions for meeting the security, regulations &
compliance requirements
- Good knowledge and experience in estimation techniques for embedded solutions
- Promoting best practices for development and deployment in embedded systems
- Enforcing engineering and business alignment
- Enforce Tools standardization, Process standardization& Open-Source Library Sharing Models
Technical Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Able to quickly grasp & interpret technical journals, specifications, standards, etc.
- Strong hands-on understanding of non-functional requirements including scalability, security, privacy, high availability, and operational requirements.
- Expert-level experience with backend and mobile technology stacks.
- Knowledge of mobile security, APIs, and architectures (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms including PKI & cryptography toolkits (PKCS#11, Bouncy Castle, etc.).
- Knowledge of security and authentication protocols (TLS, OAuth2, OIDC, etc.)
- Knowledge of continuous integration CI/CD process pipelines. Specific knowledge of orchestration and automated deployment would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) or smart cards.
- Knowledge of security threat model creation (DFD diagrams, STRIDE, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of the web, backend, and mobile architectures, Node.js, JavaScript, Microsoft C# & .NET core tech stack.
- Experience in native mobile development for Android/iOS (Kotlin/Swift) or cross-platform technologies (e.g., Ionic Capacitor) would be advantageous.
- Database experience (Redis, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Experience with RESTful web services & microservice architectures.
- Experience in developing cloud (AWS or Azure) and/or hybrid cloud solutions with integration with on-premises systems.
- Experience in designing, configuring and programmatically accessing databases.
- Strong DevOps experience using container & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
