Light curtain for increased safety
The ASSA ABLOY Light Curtain is a touchless sensor system that increases the overall safety of your doors compared to the standard solution which is a safety edge protecting the primary closing edge. Before even meeting an obstacle, the light curtain will detect something is in the way and begin to reverse. In addition, one of the sensors in the light curtain is connected separately and acts as the secondary photocell safety. Together, the light curtain gives your business one less thing to think about and increases comfort for your workers.
Automatic closing for greater convenience
ASSA ABLOY automatic closing is a programmable timer function that closes the door after a specified time. The timer can be set to count from either the fully open position and/or from the time an object passes through the light curtain. By keeping doors closed unless in use, unnecessary energy consumption is reduced and indoor working environments are enhanced. Remember that the biggest energy loss happens when a door stands unnecessary open.
