ASSA ABLOY’s strong brand has been acknowledged with the Construction Brand Award in the Red Dot Award’s Brands and Communication Design category, 2019.

The international jury awarded the Red Dot prize to ASSA ABLOY, recognizing its well-designed brand communication. "There has been a clear standardization of both the brand identities and the product design," the Red Dot Awards website states. "The result is a consolidation of the brand, achieved through reducing the number of initial brands and creating a visual link between the various brand areas and the many products."

The ASSA ABLOY branding and design team, together with colleagues around the world, have succeeded in making ASSA ABLOY "a brand that is perceived by customers at all contact levels as being contemporary and inherently consistent today," Red Dot notes.

Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, says the awards are "a testament both to their convincing performance and to the quality and design leadership of their brands. Anyone who succeeds in such a strong and international bunch of competitors deserves to be proud of themselves and their achievements."

ASSA ABLOY received its certificate at the award ceremony in Berlin on 1 November. With more than 18,000 entries, the Red Dot Award is one of the world's largest design competitions and is well established as an international platform for the evaluation of design.
