As a European Regional Partner of the World Green Building Council, we're participating in World Green Building Week, a campaign to raise awareness of green buildings as one the most effective means to achieving a range of global sustainability goals
Taking place from 23-29 September 2019, World Green Building Week (WGBW) is a global awareness campaign to promote and educate how green buildings are part of the climate solution and can help us build a better future.
This year's campaign aims to raise greater awareness of the carbon emissions from all stages of a building's lifecycle, and therefore encourage new practices and new ways of thinking to work towards reducing carbon emissions from buildings.
As a partner of the World Green Building Council, we will share our knowledge and experience when it comes to sustainable operations, and how automated entrance solutions contribute to a more sustainable business for our customers. Follow ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in on LinkedIn and Facebook, and join in on the conversation using the #BuildingLife #WGBW2019 #assaabloyentrance hashtags.
Green Building Councils are independent, non-profit organizations made up of businesses and organizations working in the building and construction industry. As members of WorldGBC, they work to advance green building in their own countries, as well as uniting with other Green Building Councils to achieve environmental, economic and social goals on a larger, global scale.
