Automatic doors can improve sustainability and save energy

Did you know that the building sector accounts for 39% of the world's carbon emissions, according to the World Green Building Council's Global Status Report from 2017. Just to put it into perspective, that is nearly double the amount of CO² produced by the transport sector (22%).

This is not surprising when you know a little about how heating and cooling systems work. In fact, every time the climate is disturbed by external weather, systems that control indoor climate must work overtime to correct it. But there is good news to the story. We have found a way to improve this by the help of automatic doors. Because when a door saves energy, the whole building saves energy – which is a fact that is often overlooked.
