Safety first
Swift operation is undoubtedly key but it’s not only speed that’s important. Maximising safety and hygiene in these environments is also top of the agenda and that’s where the HS9120G and HS9120GHY excel.
The safety light curtain covers the total door width and the moment any obstruction is detected, the door closing stops and opens. Similarly, the soft-bottom profile of the door has no rigid parts, so will give way the moment anything gets in the way. The break-away system ensures the door curtain will automatically reintroduce itself after a crash and the stainless-steel side frame and top-roll cover both have high corrosion resistance.
The doors can also help to improve the internal environment, protecting against draughts, humidity and contamination. By keeping production areas separate, it’s easier to maintain a climate that’s suitable for manufacturing and comfortable for staff.
Bespoke options
To meet the requirements of different manufacturing facilities, each of the high-speed door systems can be customised with a choice of 11 curtain colours and may be equipped with windows or vision panels to increase natural lighting. Other optional extras include our touchless opening system, stainless-steel, corrosion-resistant enclosure for the door’s control unit and an advanced foam curtain to reduce noise levels and energy loss further.
HACCP certification
For additional peace of mind, the HS9120GHY is certified to meet the requirements of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification, an international recognition awarded to food processors and manufacturers that meet specific standards of food safety. Increasingly, only ‘safe’ products that meet this standard are used and installed in the production process.
