Great news! We’re currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to be based at our Mississauga, Ontario office.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap based on market analysis, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
- Define product vision, goals, and success metrics.
- Prioritize features and initiatives to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.
- Product Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, including market analysis, requirements definition, development, testing, and post-launch evaluation.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Market & Customer Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand needs and pain points.
- Define target market segments and develop user personas.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Communicate product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on product goals.
- Product Performance & Reporting:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Generate regular reports and presentations on product performance and market trends.
- Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and recommendations.
- Technical Understanding:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant technologies and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into product features.
- Understand and contribute to the software and hardware development process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience, preferably in the [Specify Industry - e.g., security, IoT, access control, etc.] industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis.
- Experience with hardware and software product management is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required.
