What you would do as our Product Sustainability Compliance manager
The Product Sustainability Compliance Manager will drive ASSA ABLOY's activities in the product sustainability compliance area. This role involves creating awareness and guiding ASSA ABLOY divisions to enable compliance from a product sustainability perspective. You will monitor and analyze upcoming and existing regulations and standards, selecting those relevant to the ASSA ABLOY divisions, and help our team to increase knowledge and capabilities in a timely manner before the requirements take effect. The role will include alignment with internal stakeholders to ensure a unified approach in external compliance meetings and lead forums to help the divisions to interpret required regulations and standards. The role includes participation in external forums, to ensure alignment with other industry representatives and being updated with latest market trends within the field.
You would also:
- Monitor and analyze the regulatory landscape for product sustainability compliance within the ASSA ABLOY product portfolio.
- Represent and drive ASSA ABLOY’s agenda in key standardization areas related to product sustainability and support product innovation projects and processes aligned with product sustainability compliance.
- Lead internal product sustainability compliance forums, collaborating with other product compliance forums and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure a unified ASSA ABLOY perspective on regulations and standards in external compliance meetings and Support and drive the development of internal processes and tools to enable product compliance.
- Increase knowledge internally through webinars, articles, and training sessions to equip divisions with the necessary understanding and capabilities.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has Master Degree of Science in Engineering.
- Has experience in product compliance/sustainability within a global development organization.
- Has experience in process and method development and is skilled in driving and aligning opinions to achieve consensus in stakeholder meetings.
- Has experience in standardization work with key counterparts like Swedish Institute for Standards is preferable and has strong understanding of business implications related to upcoming regulations and standards.
- Has excellent written and spoken English.
