National Accounts Quote Specialist
Door Systems | ASSA ABLOY has an immediate opening for a National Accounts Quote Specialist. This position will be based in Huntersville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present comprehensive detailed cost estimates for retail projects, including breakdowns of materials, labor, and other expenses using internal quoting template and CRM systems.
- Collaborate with the operations team, project managers and other team members to ensure estimates align with customer requirements and specifications.
- Utilize market trends, historical quote data and outcomes to calculate costs, margins, and pricing strategies for competitive and accurate quotes.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and delivery timelines required for quoted projects.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide clarifications regarding quotes, including adjustments based on customer feedback or changes in requirements.
- Archive and maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and project costs.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Proven experience in cost estimation, preferably within the retail or Construction Management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of individuals located at multiple sites. Experience using ERP systems, as well as CRM systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy.
