Why Insulated?
As we all strive for a greener planet, our insulated roller shutters have become an increasingly popular solution for improving our customers’ thermal efficiencies and reducing their carbon footprint. Offering an impressive weighted sound reduction, our insulated roller shutters can also help reduce noise pollution. ASSA ABLOY offer two types of insulated roller shutter, constructed from either a 95mm enhanced foam filled insulated lath or a 100mm traditional insulated flat lath.
Boost Security
Our insulated roller shutter doors offer a high level of security thanks to their twin interlocking cold rolled steel lath which increases the depth of the door by approximately 20mm. This makes the door tougher to cut through or force out of its guides, ensuring that businesses are better protected from theft and vandalism.
Bespoke Manufactured
Our roller shutters are all bespoke manufactured in our UK based production facility. This includes everything from rolling the individual curtain lath to powder coating the final product. This provides us with optimum control over product quality and design, thus enabling us to accommodate our clients’ individual requirements including:
- Curved foam filled lath (95mm)
- Flat boxed lath with thermal infill (100mm)
- Vision laths with double glazed Perspex (95mm and 100mm)
- PVC laminate coating complete with anti-scratch properties in a range of colours (95mm)
- Plastisol in a range of colours (100mm)
- Galvanised finish (100mm)
- Powder coating in BS and RAL colours to guides, angles and endplates
- Bespoke fabricated guide sections
- Barrel hoods/canopies
- Motor hoods/canopies
- High speed operation
- Various methods of automation
- Various locking options
