Day and night industrial door solution for car showroom development

This 4-storey car dealership is a 3,200 sq metre site and is a modern day example of how space can be optimised in a prime location.

Completed by contractor, MCS group Ltd, ASSA ABLOY supplied an array of doors throughout the development including a day and night door solution to the service workshop. In day mode, our HS8010PDN high speed door allows cars to pass in and out quickly of the workshop, ensuring that energy loss is kept to a minimum during the working day. In night mode, our OH1042PDN overhead sectional door protects the car dealership and is closed in front of the high-speed door.

In both the customer entrance and exit of the dealership, two ASSA ABLOY OH1042P SBD (Secured by Design) sectional doors have been installed, these doors are the perfect solution for this commercial environment where security and thermal performance are absolute priority.

In the upstairs valet bay, another of our OH1042P sectional doors has been supplied to ensure optimal thermal performance when the bay is in use. This door was supplied with a glazed OH1042F panel to provide natural light and vision into the valet bay.

As part of offering the complete doors package, the company also supplied 20 steel hinged doors and one roller shutter to the parts store. The steel hinged doors provided fire compartmentalisation as well as access control and security to different areas of the building.
