Docking solution the gateway to new industrial development
Working in conjunction with developers Trebor Developments LLP/Hillwood, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems UK are proud to have been involved in the supply and install of Gateway 4 Doncaster.
Ideally situated at Junction 4 of the M18, this award winning 411,470 SQ FT industrial/distribution development features ASSA ABLOY’s industrial loading solutions. This includes our premium Level Access Doors, Loading Bays, Dock Shelters and Dock Levellers, which are supported by a range of safety accessories including nylon buffers and wheel guides.
Of the 34 bays installed, there are 30 standard bays, supplied with ASSA ABLOY DL6120T dock levellers, which are 6000kg rated load under regulations EN1398 and feature a 500mm movable telescopic lip. This dock leveller type provides a larger contact area between vehicle bed and dock leveller, making it easier to precisely position on the vehicle bed for optimal load utilisation and improved safety.
The tall bay dock levellers are also supplied with the ASSA ABLOY DL6120T telescopic dock leveller and 1000mm telescopic lip, this design accommodates a wide range of vehicles including single and double deck trailers.
Throughout this industrial development, the ASSA ABLOY OH1042P sectional loading bay and level access door provides a modern and clean design. With 42mm thick insulated panels this overhead sectional doors is designed without thermal bridge to provide minimal thermal transmittance, which reduces energy cost.
As a single source supplier of all industrial doors and docking equipment, the company also supplied a number steel hinged doors.
