This position will be on-site based out of our South Central regional manufacturing facility or Service Center located in Mesquite, Texas.

What would you do as our Shipper?
You’ll support our shipping, receiving, and customer order fulfilment operations. This role is critical in ensuring our customers receive their products quickly, accurately, and with the high level of service we’re known for.
You will also:

Pick, pack, and ship outbound orders via UPS Parcel and LTL freight

Receive, check in, and stock inventory

Process customer will-call orders with professionalism and care
-
Operate equipment including cherry picker, forklift, and reach lift

Use scan guns and UPS WorldShip for accurate and efficient order processing

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
-
Adapt to varying daily volumes and assist in other warehouse functions as needed

Work occasional overtime as business needs require

Other projects as needed

Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to ASSA ABLOY standards.

Assure compliance with federal, provincial, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
The Skills and Experience you need:
-
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
-
Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving environment is a plus
-
Familiarity with basic inventory control and warehouse management systems
-
Experience using UPS WorldShip or other shipping software is helpful, but not required
-
Comfortable using scan guns or handheld devices to manage inventory and order fulfilment.

Basic computer literacy (ability to enter data, print labels, and navigate simple interfaces)

Understanding of shipping documentation (packing slips, BOLs, etc.)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Able to work overtime as required
